Preparation:
Cooking Directions for a family of 4.
Cook 4tbsp Toor dal + 3 cups water + 1/2 tsp oil + 1 pinch Tumeric powder.
Cgam the cooked dal, keep aside.
Boil 2 Tbsp tamarind pulp (1.5 Tamarind water) + 1/2 tsp haggery + 1 chopped tomato + 1tbsp MTR rasam powder + 1 cup water.
Add cooked dal + salt, cooked fir 5-7 minutes.
Heat 1/2 Tbsp ghee, add 1/2 tsp mustard + curry Leaves + 1 pinch asafoetida. Add to rasam.
Tasty Tip:
Garnish it with finely cut coriander leaves and enjoy as a soup or you can also serve with rice.
