Usage:
Use for dessert, baking, thickening.
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven at 180°C.
- Dissolve the 8 grams of yeast in a 100mL cold water and stir well. Set aside for 5 minutes.
- Place the Ube Pandesal mix in a mixing bowl.
- Add 1/8 cup evaporated milk and 1 piece small size egg in a mixing bowl.
- Then, slowly add the cold water with yeast.
- Using stand mixer with hook, mix altogether.
- Add the 25 grams margarine.
- Continue mixing for 15 minutes or until the dough is form.
- Mold the dough into round shape then rest for
15 minutes covered with plastic or cheesecloth. - Roll the dough into "baston" shape then cut into 10 equal parts.
- Roll the dough into bread crumbs and then place in a greased baking tray. Make sure to provide space between the dough as this will rise later on.
- Cover the dough with plastic and proof for 1 hol
- Bake the ube pandesal at 180°C for 15 minutes
- Cool down for 30 minutes and serve.

Store in a cool, dry place and away from sunlight.
