Chinese Buns is a type of filled bun popular in the Chinese Cuisine. It is also referred to as Bao Buns which is pronounced as bow, but most of the time it is known for as steamed buns or Baozi.
Suitable for vegetarian.
Usage:
Ideal as a meal.
Preparation:
For best results cook from frozen. All appliances vary, the following are guidelines only. Ensure the buns are
thoroughly cooked and piping hot before serving. Following guidelines are based on 4 buns (Approx. 100g).
Microwave:
1. Remove all packaging.
2. Place the buns on a microwavable plate, heat for 1-2minutes (750W), leave to stand
for 1 minute.
Steam:
1. Prepare a steamer, place a plate in the middle and heat the steamer.
2. Remove all packaging.
3. Place the buns on to the plate and steam with medium heat for 10-13 minutes.
Deep Fry:
1. Preheat oil to 175°C.
2. Remove all packaging.
3. Deep fry the buns for 3-5 minutes, until they turn to golden colour.
Storage:
Frozen.
