Grass jelly is a jelly-like dessert made using Chinese mesona and has a mild, slightly bitter taste. It can clear summer-heat, relieve thirst and eliminate heat-toxin. It has been used to treat fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cough, mouth sores, high blood pressure, diabetes and liver disease.

Usage:

Ideal for jelly.

Preparation:

Add 300ml water to 100g of glass jelly powder, make them paste. Then pour 2.2 litres of boiling water into the paste while stirring them. You also can refrigerated it first, then stir them into pieces and it’s ready to be served or together with other beverage such as honey or syrup. Cold storage not below 3⁰C will has a better taste.
