Kimchi Fried Rice Recipe:


  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup chopped kimchi
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions
  • 2 fried eggs (optional)


  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add chopped kimchi to the skillet and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  3. Add cooked white rice to the skillet and stir-fry with the kimchi and onion mixture for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper to the skillet and stir well to combine.
  5. Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the rice is heated through and the flavors are well combined.
  6. Garnish with chopped scallions and serve with fried eggs on top (optional).
